All-Time Favs

These books have touched my life in more way than one. There are so many ways I can describe the love I have for the books listed here, but I'll try to keep it short and sweet.

A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket

This is honestly one of my favorite series to read. It's the one that got me into reading in the first place! They're written for the YA crowd, but I still find myself randomly picking up these books. My brother and I are planning on getting the VFD eye tattoo above our left ankle together as a symbol of our love for this series. It taught me so many phrases, words, and random facts. Did you know that wasabi is closely related to horseradish? All I'm saying is, you NEED to pick up these books if you're looking for something with clever jokes, a fantastic plot, and to make you feel better about your woes. At least you aren't one of the Cake Sniffing Orphans in the Orphans Shack!

Favorite Quote (One of Many): "If you are allergic to a thing, it is best not to put that thing in your mouth, particularly if the thing is cats."

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

I think it's safe to say that I'm a DIE HARD Harry Potter fan. Anytime someone I know sees something pertaining to the Wizarding World on social media, they immediately tag me in it.
Harry Potter is more than just a series to me. It has been a huge part of my life for many years now and I don't ever see myself getting over it (heck, I even got the Deathly Hallows symbol tattooed on my foot)! If you haven't read the series, which is unlikely, but bound to be true occasionally, then I highly suggest you do. This series teaches you about life, love, family, friendship, to be yourself, to never give up, that even the most unlikely people can be "heroes", and SO much more.

Favorite Quote (One of Many): "We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are."

"More coming soon? Oh heck yes!!" -Albus Dumbledore
